How to find the "zone of silence" in your B2B market

Most content planning starts with ICP pain points.

Useful.

Also often generic.

Another signal is what people in the market are actively asking right now, especially the questions nobody answers well.

I call that the zone of silence.

A simple workflow

Pick 20-30 strong practitioners your buyers already read.

Collect their posts and comments over a meaningful period.

Look for recurring questions, strong debates, new terminology, things people repeatedly disagree about and questions with surprisingly weak answers.

Use AI to cluster the material.

Then read the interesting parts yourself.

The goal is not an AI-generated content calendar.

The goal is finding real information demand.

Why this works well in finite markets

In a 300-account market you do not need a topic with huge search volume for it to matter.

A question asked by ten senior operators can be commercially important.

Especially if nobody has answered it properly.

That is where thought leadership, SEO and AEO can reinforce one another.
